The students are expected to abide by the institute’s code of conduct, which are as follows:

Electronics
- The use of laptops during the class is NOT allowed. Please leave your laptop at the main office before entering the class. Laptops are allowed only to the students sitting in front rows, assigned to take notes.
- Please switch cell phones to quiet or vibrate mode so as not to disturb the class and the recording session.
- Recording of each session will be uploaded on the AlFajr website and will be available to all students.
Logistics
- There are separate entrances for Sisters (Front door) and for brothers (Back door). Please use appropriate entrances.
Class Etiquette
PLEASE CHECK THE WEBSITE DAILY FOR UPDATES.
- Students are requested to be punctual.
- Students are requested not to interrupt the class while the instructor is teaching. Please wait for the Question & Answer session at the end of the lecture to bring up your point.
- Please respect your Instructors, Peers and Volunteers. Students are expected to be humble, polite and caring and respectful towards Islamic teachings.
- Students are expected to stay attentive in class and take notes properly. Please try to apply Islamic teachings to your day to day life.
- No snacks are allowed in class. However, water bottles are allowed.
- There is a 15 minute break for students.
Dress Code
- Both brothers and sisters are requested to wear appropriate Islamic dress. The sisters are required to wear headscarf in addition to a loose dress or abaya.
