Br. Ibrahim Hindy

Ibrahim Hindy was born and raised in Toronto, Canada where he currently resides. He began lecturing and delivering friday sermons at the age of 18 throughout Toronto at many mosques, including Masjid Salaheddin where his father, Imam Aly Hindy serves as Imam. Ibrahim has travelled extensively in search of Islamic knowledge, and studied under many scholars in Egypt and Saudi Arabia and memorized Qur’an in Pakistan.

At the present time, Ibrahim Hindy is pursuing Religious Studies at the University of Toronto as well as serving as religious advisor to both Masjid Salaheddin in Scarborough and Masjid Dar at-Tawheed in Mississauga.

Dr. Hassan A. Hassan

Dr. Hassan  graduated from Ain Shams University as a Mechanical Engineer at 1981. Received Master Degree at 1986 And Ph.D. at 1990. He attended several classes at Al Azhar Unversity, Egypt, starting 1985-1995, in Islamic Studies, Tawheed (monothiesm), Sciences of Quraan and tafseer, Science of Hadeeth, Fikh and Usol Al Fikh. Al Hamdulellah, he memorized the whole Quran while studying (Quraat Hafs by Asem ibn abi alnojood). Later on he was hired by Um Al-Qura University at Makkah as a professor to teach Automatic control and industrial automation (Fuclty of Engineering). 

In 1996, Dr. Hassan met prof. Shaikh Saied Meselhi at Makkah, who was teaching Fikh for post graduate student at Um Al Quraa university, Faculty of Shariaa. After detailed discussions, the Shaikh selected him to teach tafseer and fikh classes for the professors of Faculty of Engineering, Um Al Qura university, 1996-2001.
 
As an ICNA member, Dr. Hassan worked in teaching Islamic Educations, Quran recitation and Tafseer, Usol Al Fikh, Sciences of Hadeeth, since he came to Canada in 2001 until now. 
 
Dr. Hassan is  51 years old, married and has 4 boys. He is working as an Associate Engineering Scientist, Nuclear.

Dr. Arif Syed

Dr Arif Syed conducted the first workshop on ‘Anger’. He is a psychiatrist and is working towards becoming an Islamic Scholar insha-Allah. He conducts his lectures, both from the scientific, medical and of course Islamic points of view.

Br. Omer Zia

Br Omer Zia is an Educator working with the Peel School Board and a well-known Khatib and lecturer in Toronto.  Being a Youth Educator and Professional Teacher,  Br Omar Zia, is a prominent figure amongst our community and takes the boys and girls on a journey of fun learning that focuses on making Islam relevant to their lives.

Sr. Amal Qudsi

Sr Amal Qudsi holds a Master Degree in Shariah and is a regular Fiqh-un-Nisa tecaher at Ad-Duha Institute of Islamic Sciences, AlFalah.  Currently she is running Manhal Ul-Eman Academy, a school for Arabic Language studies, in Mississauga.
